Takes about three minutes. They have to say yes before anything is sent.

At orientation they told you how much your encouragement means to a student who is away from home for the first time. They were right. They just did not mention you would be doing it around work, dinner, and everything else.

You mean to text. Some weeks you do. This makes sure it happens on the weeks you cannot.

How it works

1. Tell us about them

Their first name, mobile number, and school. Pick how often notes arrive and what time of day. Add their birthday while you are there.

2. They say yes

We send one text letting them know you set this up, with a personal note from you. Nothing else is sent unless they reply YES. It is always their call.

3. You show up

A short note lands on their phone at the time you picked. Long enough to mean something, short enough that they actually read it.

Their birthday is covered

Write the birthday note now, months ahead, and we will hold it until the morning it matters. Or let us handle it.

About our text messages

Encourage Us sends encouragement messages by SMS. Message frequency depends on the plan chosen by the purchaser: daily, weekdays, three times per week, or weekly, plus a one-time invitation message. Message and data rates may apply.

Recipients only receive recurring messages after texting YES to our invitation. Reply STOP at any time to cancel and receive no further messages. Reply HELP for help. Consent is never a condition of any purchase, and recipients can opt out independently of the purchaser.

Plans renew automatically at the end of each term. You can cancel any time from your account, and notes continue through the term you already paid for.
